Returns and refunds

Because each Clay It Ain’t So! piece is handmade and one of a kind, all sales are considered final once an order has shipped.

Please review product photos, descriptions, dimensions, and other details carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions about a piece, you are welcome to contact me before placing your order.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible. Orders may be canceled and refunded if they have not yet been shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your item arrives damaged, broken, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery.

For shipping damage, photographs of the item, shipping box, and packaging will be required so the issue can be properly documented.

Because my pieces are one of a kind, exact replacements generally cannot be guaranteed. Depending on the circumstances, a resolution may include a refund, store credit, or another appropriate solution.

Handmade Variations
Every piece is individually handmade and fired, which means no two pieces will be exactly alike. Slight variations in shape, size, glaze color, glaze coverage, speckling, texture, surface appearance, and other characteristics are natural parts of handmade ceramics.

Small variations and imperfections that do not affect the intended function of the piece are not considered defects.

Product photographs are intended to represent each piece as accurately as possible; however, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, and your device or screen settings.

Sale Items
Items marked as final sale, clearance, or discounted due to a disclosed imperfection are not eligible for refunds for those disclosed characteristics.

Custom & Commissioned Work
Custom and commissioned pieces may require a nonrefundable deposit before work begins. Once materials have been purchased or work on the piece has begun, the deposit cannot be refunded.

Additional commission terms, pricing, estimated completion times, and payment requirements will be discussed before work begins.
